’ am Ruby (Official name Roopini Radhakrishnan, Chinese name: Lin Ming), Am an assistant
professor in psychology and also, I have been teaching English language to Chinese students. I
hold a master's degree in Clinical psychology (2018), MBA (HRM) and also a research Scholar
pursuing PhD in Cognitive Psychology (Final Year) Also am an academic tutor in Cafetalk (Online
tutoring Company), Japan.
I started my teaching career in Wenzhou University (China) teaching Psychology and English since
2018. I have a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification from TEFL professional
institute, China. In 2018, I volunteered to teach English in Wenzhou government middle school for
6 months in the beginning of my first visit to China. I have a neutral native accent which means
you can understand my speech/accent clearly. A person who is speaking in a neural accent
cannot identify his/her region or country from where he or she belong to. However, I have also
taught basic American accent tips while teaching speaking and listening skills.
Teaching English to Chinese students enabled me to be culturally competent and interactive. Also
am glad that I attended Chinese classes for a semester with other international students which
again exposed me to diverse cultural environment. Handling the class with punctuality, politeness
and patience is something that I have been incorporating in my teaching
